Our Commitment

PromptVault is an AI prompt library app that lets you browse, save, copy, and generate prompts for tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app on iOS or Android.

By using PromptVault, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please stop using the app and contact us to delete your account.

We collect three categories of data: information you give us directly, data generated by your activity in the app, and technical data collected automatically.

PromptVault uses the following trusted services. Each service processes data under its own privacy policy, which we link below.

• AI API keys are stored only on Firebase Functions servers — never in the app.
• We do not permanently store the raw text you type into the generator beyond the duration of the API call.
• Generated prompts are stored only if you explicitly choose to save them.
• Community-submitted prompts go through automated moderation before being published.

Users can watch rewarded video ads to earn credits, which unlock premium prompts.

• Ads are served by Google AdMob, mediated through AppLovin MAX.
• Ad networks may collect your device advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS), IP address, and coarse location to serve relevant ads.
• On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before accessing your IDFA. If you decline, contextual (non-personalised) ads are shown instead.
• On Android, you can opt out of ad personalisation in Settings → Google → Ads.
• Watching a rewarded ad to completion earns you 1 credit, which unlocks 1 premium prompt.
• We do not share any personally identifiable information with ad networks beyond what the SDKs automatically collect.

Some data is stored directly on your device for offline access and performance.

All local data is stored in the app's private sandbox — other apps on your device cannot access it. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

The Community tab lets users submit, vote on, and comment on prompts. Please be aware of the following:

• Prompts you submit include your user ID and are publicly visible after moderation approval.
• Comments you post include your display name and are publicly visible.
• All community submissions pass through an automated moderation system (Firebase Cloud Functions) that checks for spam and prohibited content.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates our Terms of Service without prior notice.
• You can request deletion of your community submissions by contacting us at the email below.

We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data. Contact us at the email below to exercise any of these rights.

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days. For GDPR residents (EU/EEA/UK), you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

For California residents (CCPA): we do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may still request access, deletion, and opt-out of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising.

PromptVault is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 where required by local law, such as in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email below. We will delete such data promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, or the law. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• Send a push notification or in-app notice if the changes materially affect how we handle your data.
• For material changes, give you at least 7 days' notice before the new policy takes effect.

Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

You have the right to delete your PromptVault account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove the following within 30 days:

• Your profile information (name, email, avatar)
• Saved prompts, collections, and liked prompts
• Community submissions and votes
• Credit balance and view history
• Firebase authentication credentials
• FCM push notification token

Anonymised analytics data (Firebase Analytics) may be retained as it cannot be linked back to you. You can also email us directly at promptapp000@gmail.com with subject "Account Deletion Request".
